How Does Our Silicone Neon Light Production Line Work?

The silicone extruded LED light strip utilizes a cold extrusion, hot molding process that requires high stability in the extrusion machine, uniform extrusion speed, wear-resistant transmission components and screws, low machine noise, even cooling of the extrusion mechanism, uniform heating of the tunnel furnace, good thermal insulation, and high heating efficiency. These requirements ensure consistent light emission, flatness, and transparency.

1. Staffing Requirements: Efficiently run your production line with just 2-3 personnel for standard product output, streamlining operations and optimizing manpower use.

2. Output Potential: Production capacity is product size-dependent. Larger products mean more extrusion output. For instance, a standard 6*10mm hollow core light strip yields approximately 800 meters per hour (Bi-color production line). Each extrusion machine can deliver around 40KG of silicone hourly. With two machines synchronously at work, this escalates to a maximum output of 80KG per hour.

3. Energy Requirements: The production line operates on an average power consumption of 25KW-30KW per hour, peaking at a rated 75KW. A power distribution capacity of 50KW is essential, requiring an incoming line of 50 square millimeters, three-phase five-wire system (recommended) or a minimum of 35 square millimeters, three-phase five-wire system.

4. Space Allocation: A recommended installation footprint of 35m x 5m (L x W) is advised for optimal performance. However, we offer flexibility in case of space constraints by shortening the baking tunnel, but note that this modification may affect production capacity.

Horizontal Silicone Extruder

The prepared silicone material is fed into the silicone extrusion machine, which consists of a barrel, a screw, and a die. The screw inside the barrel rotates, pushing the silicone material forward and applying heat and pressure, causing the silicone to become soft and pliable.

Baking(Vulcanizing) Tunnel

The baking tunnel or vulcanizing tunnel is used in the production of silicone flex neon lights to heat-treat the extruded silicone tubing, initiating the vulcanization or curing process. This process transforms the silicone material from a soft, pliable state to a solid, resilient form with improved properties, such as durability, stability, and elasticity. The baking or vulcanizing tunnel ensures that the silicone tubing acquires the desired mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties necessary for various lighting applications.

Tension Rack
